Differential pressure flow elements are used to determine the rate of flow of a gas or liquid in a pipe by generating a drop in the pressure acorss 2 points. By use of a differential pressure transmitter with built in flow function, users can accuratly monitor this pressure drop and output a llinear flow rate.
