Hydrostatic Level probes

Hydrostatic level transmitters provide precise fluid level measurement by monitoring the static head pressure generated by the weight of the liquid. Unlike submersible transmitters, hydrostatic transmitters are mounted externally, with only the sensor exposed to the pressure. Positioned at the base of the measurement range, these transmitters output a signal directly proportional to the height of the fluid above, enabling accurate level monitoring across a wide variety of applications.

Our hydrostatic level transmitters come standard with atmospheric references, ensuring that external pressure fluctuations do not affect measurement accuracy. For extended measurement ranges or specific requirements, internally referenced and sealed versions are also available at no additional cost.

Aplisens and Ametek Drexelbrook hydrostatic level transmitters utilize advanced measuring cells capable of detecting liquid levels from just a few centimeters up to 500 meters. This versatility makes them suitable for everything from small process tanks to deep bores and wells.

Our range supports multiple communication protocols including HART, Profibus, and Modbus, and is complemented by industry certifications such as IECEx, PED, MID, and shipbuilding approvals. Materials including 316 stainless steel, Hastelloy, Monel, and Titanium are available to withstand corrosive fluids and challenging environments.

Designed for long-term reliability, our hydrostatic transmitters are field-proven across some of Australia’s harshest and most remote locations, requiring minimal maintenance while delivering consistent, accurate performance. Backed by long warranties and supported by expert customer service, these instruments are engineered for dependable operation in any industrial setting.
