10026 (7200) – High-Pressure Proximity Probe for Vibration Monitoring

The 10026 High-Pressure Proximity Probe from Metrix is an eddy current proximity probe for non-contact vibration and shaft position monitoring on rotating machinery operating under high-pressure conditions. Built for demanding installations, it withstands process pressures up to 1000 psig (6.89 MPa) using dedicated high pressure seals, making it suited to turbines, compressors and pumps where standard probes cannot be sealed against the measured environment.

The probe delivers a reliable eddy current signal against a 4140 steel target and carries an 8 mm tip diameter with a rugged Ryton tip and Series 300 stainless steel case. Its coaxial cable uses Tefzel insulation for maximum abrasion resistance with ProxMatch colour and alphanumeric coding, presenting a 95 O cable impedance and a gold plated brass connector. The assembly operates across a -40 C to +177 C (-40 F to +351 F) temperature range and has been evaluated to the IEC61508 Functional Safety standard to achieve SIL certification for use across a wide range of industries.

Supplied in reverse mount only, the 10026 is offered in 0.5 m and 1.0 m probe lengths and pairs with the Model 5499 ruggedized housing, which adds physical protection along with coarse and VerniGap vernier fine adjustment for setting precise probe gaps.
