Pressure switches from Barksdale are manufactured exclusively in the USA to support industrial, marine, food & beverage, fire, pharmaceutical, OIL & Gas and many more markets and applications. Pressure switch designs that including large diaphragm type pressure switches for very low to medium pressures; Dia-seal type pressure switches for low to high pressures; sealed piston and bourdon type pressure switches for medium to very high pressures.
In 1980, Barksdale Inc., a subsidiary of Crane Co., introduced the first solid-state pressure switch.and has continued to develop the technology with the latest range of electronic switches, the BPS3000. This latest range offers even greater flexibility and reliability that users expect from Barksdale's extensive experience manufacturing and applying mechanical and electronics pressure switches.

Series 7000 - Barksdale Pressure Switch
Compact, low cost pressure switch ideal for general and OEM applications.
The Series 7000 Pressure Switch delivers powerful performance in a compact, economical package. Available in stainless steel or brass, this pressure switch measures, controls and switches pressures up to 20,000 kPa. A snap action micro-switch eliminates the inconsistent operation of floating contacts found in similar designs. This UL Recognized and CSA listed switch can be used for high or low pressure control, safety shutdown and alarm functions for most industrial equipment applications. When the application is critical and space is limited, the Series 7000 is the pressure switch to choose.
Series 8000 - Barksdale Pressure Switch
Flexible & compact. Excellent general purpose choice for most applications.
The Series 8000 mechanical pressure switch incorporates all the manufacturing knowledge and experience that has earned Barksdale's Compact Switches the reputation of top quality and robustness in a competitive industry. With 6 different pressure ranges between 0.4 to 600 bar, customers have the option to select either the diaphragm model or the piston version to meet their specific application needs. A large choice of pressure port blocks bolted on the CETOP flange provide customers the flexibility to order various pressure ports independent of the pressure switch, keeping inventory costs low.

Series 9000 - Barksdale Pressure Switch
Compact OEM hydraulic pressure switch. Ideal for oils and thick (viscous) greases
The Series 9000 pressure switch offers uncompromising performance in a compact design. As a smaller sibling to the Series 8000 pressure switch, the Series 9000 measures 1.2 x 1.2 x 3.8 inches. It features a long pressure spring for precise switch point adjustments and excellent accuracy at +/- 2% of full scale. Additional features include an adjustable pressure range from 620 to 40,000 kPa with a proof pressure up to 60 MPa, standard aluminum body construction and a tamper-resistant adjustment set screw. Options include factory preset, US or European standard process connections and either NBR or FKM seals. The Series 9000 pressure switch has been proven in the field for years in Europe, providing reliable performance in stationary and mobile hydraulics, machine tool and factory automation, making it a good choice for your pressure switch needs.
Series CSP - Barksdale Pressure Switch
Low cost and compact for low to medium pressures. Perfectly suited to pneumatics applications.
The CSP series is a low-pressure switch ranging from 20 to 50 kPa up to 170 to 1000 kPa, with high proof pressure of 2400 kPa. The brass wetted parts make it and ideal for both water and pneumatic applications. Both AC and DC switching is available.
Series CSM - Barksdale Pressure Switch
Economical and compact choice for high pressure gas or liquid applications.
The CSM series is the companion to the CSP pressure switch, covering higher pressure ranges from 200-830 psi to 13.8-34.5 MPa. Like the CSP pressure switch, it offers high proof pressure at 62 MPa along with the same range of process connections. The CSM pressure switch features a zinc-plated steel fitting. Series CSK - Barksdale Pressure Switch
Compact pressure switch with floating contact.
For smallest size and lowest cost, the CSK series is the pressure switch of choice. With a high proof pressure of 62 MPa , the CSK pressure switch includes pressure ranges from 140-830 kPa to 6,900-20,700kPapsi. The CSK pressure switch is available in DC switching only, SPST. As with the entire CS series, gold contacts are available.
Series 9048 - Barksdale Pressure Switch

Series 9600X - Barksdale Pressure Switch with IECEx approval
All 316SS pressure switch for corrosive and hazardous environments. Explosion-proof IECEx.
Barksdale's explosion proof compact pressure switches are ideal for hazardous location hydraulic & gas applications and many of your other industrial control needs. Series 9671X/9681X are available in vacuum and pressure ranges up to 3450 kPa with a high proof pressure of 6900 kPa, and series 9692X is available in pressure ranges up to 51.7 MPa with a high proof pressure of 103 MPa, these pressure switches come with a SPDT or DPDT limit switch. The Series 96201 Pressure Switches offer a durable and versatile solution to your pressure control problems in a compact, economical package. Large diaphragm pressure switch with calibrated dial
Barksdale's CD1H and CD2H Housed Diaphragm Pressure Switches provide an ideal solution for pressure control applications requiring tamper proof external adjustment and environments which require water-tight NEMA 4 housings. These pressure switches are available in single or dual control settings for both positive pressure and vacuum models, to 1000 kPa. These snap-action switches may be wired normally open or normally closed through a 3/4"-14 NPT conduit connector to free leads to 18". All models feature self-locking set screw adjustment and dials which are calibrated for increasing setting.
