Model 6000
Gauge and Sample Hatch with Hinged Cover
The Groth Model 6000 Gauge Hatch provides access for gauging or obtaining product samples from storage tanks. Model 6000 Series is designed with a foot lever surface to avoid foot slippage when opening. Gravity will close the cover upon removal of pressure on the foot treadle.

Model 6100
Gauge and Sample Hatch with Lock Down Hinged Cover
The Groth 6100 Series provides access for gauging or obtaining product samples from storage tanks. The Model 6100 incorporates a positive cover hold down which assures a premium tight seal on tanks with internal pressures up to 3 psig. Gasketed covers are recommended on tanks with high pressure settings.

Model 61T
Gauge and Sample Hatch with Hinged Cover
The Groth Model 61T Gauge Hatch provides access for gauging or obtaining product samples from storage tanks. The gauge hatch has a gauge hook integrated to the base to facilitate sampling the tank. The Model 61T Gauge Hatch incorporates “cushioned-air” seating which assures a superior seal to ensure minimal fugitive emissions.
- Permits the use of both hands during gauging or sampling
- Ultra-tight sealing reduces product leakage and fugitive emissions
- Designed for easy maintenance, thus reducing downtime and lowering operational cost
- Gauge hatch is able to be mounted to 150# ASME flanges or DIN bolting

Model 8200
Roof Manhole Cover
The Groth Model 8200 Roof Manhole Cover is used when quick and easy access is desired. It is generally placed on digester covers or roofs. It is required in most cases by insurance underwriters to be non-sparking and gas tight. The seal is provided by a Buna-N diaphragm and the load is distributed evenly around the seat by design. The Model 8200 incorporates a positive cover lockdown which assures a premium seal on digester tanks with internal pressures up to 1 psig.
