Proximity Probes - Eddy Current
Used to measure vibration via the relative movement of the rotating shaft and probe tip. Eddy current proximity probes, or displacement probes, can also be used for thrust, speed, phase and position monitoring.
Metrix proximity probes are interchangeable with BN Series 3300, 3300 XL, 7200, and 3000. All probes incorporate the latest technology & include approval for IECEx and certification for SIL 2.
Proximity probes available in 5mm, 8mm and 11mm tip sizes with various thread options and user defined lengths. Ideally suited for vibration, displacement, speed, phase and thrust measurements.
When coupled with the Metrix Digital Proximity System (DPS) Driver or Transmitter, users can configure the assembly for target, output, cable lenth and much more.
